Acquisition of DSM Assurantiën by Howden Netherlands B.V.

As of October 1, 2024, the private insurance portfolio of DSM Insurances B.V. has been acquired by Howden. The sale of the private portfolio is the result of a strategic business and portfolio review by dsm-firmenich. All private insurance activities have been transferred to the new insurance partner. As a result of this transition, some contact details will change.

What does this mean for you?

  • The name DSM Assurantiën will be retained, but now as part of Howden. Our service and support will remain at the high level you are used to, and you can continue to rely on your trusted contacts.
  • Your insurance package, the ‘DSM Zekerheidspakket’, will also remain unchanged. The favorable premiums and conditions will stay the same. You can still expand your coverage or add new insurance policies to your package.
  • Premium collection will take place on the 15th of each month. You will see a different name on the direct debit: Howden.
  • If you have taken out insurance with us and later change employers, you and your family can always continue your insurance package with us.
